First, you may wish to read this short article from Investors Business Daily. Apparently the President has forgotten that it was the sub-prime mortgage rate that started us down the path to economic ruin. Does the President really care? The reason I ask is that during the campaign he often slammed bankers for the mess yet named one of the pioneers of the sub-prime fiasco to chair his campaign finance committee.
Oh, and excuse me, Mister President, but was it not the Democrats who were behind the push for the sub-prime, and who continued to maintain it in spite of the warnings from Senator McCain and President Bush? And didn’t you receive over $105, 000 from Fannie and Freddie between ’04 and ’08? (watch video and read text below video).
