Heat Wave!

We haven’t had a day above freezing since the new year began.  That’s hardly a lengthy time period for this area.   Today the temp will reach the high thirties, and the above freezing weather will continue through the weekend.  Ice skating is great, but no ice to skate on is even better.  The first photo was taken by me two winters ago.  The second was obtained from flickr and was submitted by someone named Brit.  The photo appears under this Creative Commons license.
